Combining historical building shapes and facing concrete may seem very daring at first glance. The architects from the office of Worschech, Erfurt (Germany), have proved nonetheless how well this cement-based construction material can blend into a time-honoured ensemble. They had a facing concrete wall prepared for the Erfurt Angermuseum with the aid of formwork matrices whose composition mirrors the building's function in a subtle way.
