The Kameha Grand Bonn luxury hotel with its 254 rooms and 62 suites was opened in November 2009. It is the cultural centre of the "Bonner Bogen" set in a total development with 63,000 square metres of newly created green and outdoors areas plus 36,000 square metres of office space that have been created on the grounds of a former Portland cement factory at the river embankment since 2003.
