Creative retreat and days spent in fellowship are items that are increasingly high on our agendas. At Hohenkammer Chateau in Upper Bavaria, Germany, the central entry area and extension guest rooms have been complementing its conferencing business in a worthy manner since 2008. With their project, Brückner & Brückner, the architects from Tirschenreuth, have occasioned a crucial interface between estate, guest house, park grounds and chateau. The architects received the "Zukunft Wohnen (future living) 2009" architec- tural prize for their exemplary guest house in October in the "Living in Community" category.
